About Cork Airport Business Park

Empowering Success Stories

As one of the long-standing businesses located within the Cork Airport Business Park, we are proud to celebrate this important milestone alongside our neighbours. From the outset, the park’s strategic location adjacent to Cork Airport and its proximity to the city centre made it an ideal base for the Cork International Hotel.

The campus-style environment is not only attractive and well-maintained, but it also offers a sense of community that is valued by our team and our guests alike. The ease of access, ample parking, and professional setting make it a highly convenient and desirable place to work. Over the years, we have enjoyed excellent collaboration with Cork Airport and also with fellow businesses on the campus, which continues to enhance our overall experience here.

We congratulate Cork Airport Business Park on 25 years of excellence and look forward to many more years of continued success in this vibrant location.

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is proud to be a long-standing tenant of the Cork Airport Business Park. Since opening our European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) servicing office here in March 2003, our associates have enjoyed our office's close proximity to Cork International Airport and transport links to the city. This location has been an asset to attract and retain talented associates who day-in and day-out take care of our vacation club owners around the region.

Matrox Europe Limited (MEL) is the headquarters of Matrox’s EMEA business responsible for providing downstream Supply Chain, Finance and Human Resources management services to Matrox’s EMEA companies. MEL was originally based in an office in Douglas, Cork and quickly grew from a handful of employees to over 100. This growth necessitated a larger multi-functional space and hence our relationship with Cork Airport Business Park commenced in the late 1990’s.

We are very pleased to have such a long standing relationship with Cork Airport Business Park and the Blackwater Asset Mgt. team, led by Kevin Howey. This location provides a professional environment, access to key infrastructure, cost efficiency and scalability opportunities. These opportunities has served Matrox well over the past 25 years and allowed our business to flex in size and functionality over the years. The exceptional location of the business park so closely positioned next to Cork Airport, also delivered logistical efficiencies in both cost and time. Furthermore, the Business Park offers security, car parking and proximity to amenities which, in our eyes, makes it an exceptional location for any modern agile business. We are happy to be part of the CABP family and hope to be here for many years to come.

Congratulations to Kevin and all the team at CABP on achieving this fantastic milestone of 25 years in business. And thank you all for your continued support and excellent customer service. Here is to the next 25 years !

In 2024, Cork Airport welcomed 3.1 million passengers (+10% vs. 2023), flying on over 50 routes to the UK and continental Europe and is forecasting 10% growth again in 2025, to bring its passenger numbers to 3.4 million.

Cork Airport offers a very pleasant passenger experience, complemented by modern facilities and friendly staff delivering high passenger satisfaction levels, friendly customer service, punctual departures for airlines and is considered one of Europe’s friendliest airports. (ACI Europe “Best International Airport under 5 million passengers” – 2017, 2019).

Cork Airport is embarking upon a €200 million Capital Development programme, to put in place the necessary infrastructure to support its growth to beyond 5 million passengers per annum in the next number of years.

In addition, Cork Airport is leading the way on sustainability and has been named as the "Best Performing Commercial Semi-State Body" for energy reduction for two years running, as assessed by SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland).

We are delighted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our good neighbours at Cork Airport Business Park. Located just a short distance from our terminal, the business park is home to quality international enterprises ranging from global tech, treasury, finance, and shared services. We are proud of our proximity to the business park, and we have a strong relationship with the management company and the tenant enterprises.

When the Business Park was officially opened, it was described as a modern, high-tech facility which was built “with a view to putting Cork at the competitive edge for global communications for international high technology business.” Safe to say, in the 25 years since it first opened, it has done precisely that.

On behalf of the team at Cork Airport, we wish continued success to all at Cork Airport Business Park.
